Deloitte predicts that India’s semiconductor market will reach $55 billion by 2026.
India is emerging as a major player in 5G, semiconductor and chip technology, live sports, and AVOD during 2025-2028, according to consultancy Deloitte. Here we must mention AVOD is Advertising-based Video on Demand(AVOD) is a model where video content is made available for viewing on the internet and supported by advertisements.
Deloitte has predicted the Indian semiconductor market will reach $55 billion by 2026 with more than 60 per cent of the market being driven by three industries -- smartphones and wearable, automotive components, and computing and data storage. They claimed in a release that the market size will grow to $85 billion and will create employment for 6,00,000 by 2030.
